Miss Muscatine Youth Program

The Miss Muscatine Scholarship Program is proud to sponsor the Miss Muscatine Youth program! This program is designed to help the participants grow and develop. Specific requirements for each age division and paperwork may be viewed and downloaded by clicking the appropriate link to the left.

The program promotes:

	Scholastic excellence
	Performance distinction
	Healthy living
	Community service

There are three separate titles awarded during the Miss Muscatine Youth Competition.

	Muscatine’s Outstanding Teen
	Muscatine's Outstanding Junior Miss
	Muscatine's Outstanding Li’l Miss

To become a contestant in the Miss Muscatine Youth Program, a girl must be:

A citizen of the United States

Reside or go to school in Muscatine, Scott, Louisa, Cedar, Johnson or Des Moines Counties

Meet the age requirements for the level of competition

	Li'l Miss must be between the ages of 6 and 9 by the local competition and no older than 9 by the state pageant
	Junior Miss must be between the ages of 10 and 12 by the local competition and no older than 12 by the state pageant.
	Miss Iowa's Outstanding Teen must be between the ages of 13 and 17 by the local competition. The seventeen year old must still be a junior in high school and not eligible to compete for Miss Iowa prior to the state pageant.
