CMN Fundraising Requirement: In 2007 the Miss America Organization announced a formal partnership with the Children's Miracle Network.  As part of that partnership every contestant on the local, state and national level will be required to do fundraising for CMN through personal website donation sites located at www.missamerica4kids.org.  Each contestant should go to this website to create an account and begin the fundraising process immediately.  Local contestants are required to raise $100 for CMN/MAO for each local competition they compete in (up to $400).  Excess fundraising (beyond $100) will rollover towards the next local you compete in.  At the end of the pageant year (after Miss Iowa) you must change the PAGEANT YEAR (year of the state pageant you're trying for)  for the next pageant season.  During each pageant year you use the same account and just pick the local you're competing in currently. Note that we are in pageant year 2009.  DEADLINE: January 3rd
